Operation Skybridge - Deployment Update

Good evening Residents, 

Operation Skybridge continue to operate in the Sutton Coldfield area, supporting the local neighbourhood teams in tackling offences such as Burglary, Robbery, Vehicle and Drug crime. 

As the cold weather draws in, the team have deployed early mornings to prevent the theft of vehicles. 

We would like to remind you not to leave vehicles running left unattended under any circumstances. Thieves only need seconds to take it and will often go to extensive lengths in order to do so. 

We have also received contact from many of you passing on information to us. In particular, we have recently received reports of drug dealing. We will now include these locations in our patrols to disrupt criminality and prevent offences.

ALWAYS CALL 999 IN AN EMERGENCY. 

Today, we also spotted a male riding an E-bike in Sutton Coldfield. After successfully getting it stopped, the male was searched and found to be in possession of a knife and subsequently arrested.

The team continue to carry out enforcement action, seeking out those intent on causing harm to your community.
