New Greenbank Neighbourhood Beat Manager |
||
|
Hello Neighbours!
I’m PC 8426 Lauren Ford, your new Greenbank Neighbourhood Beat Manager.
A bit about me: This will be my fifth year in policing in the Plymouth area. I’ve previously been the Beat Manager for Lipson and Laira, gaining valuable experience in building community relationships and addressing local needs. I love my job, good days or bad, there is no other job in the world I would rather do than policing, therefore I am extremely passionate about what I do, and will always strive to do my best for the general public. I'm an animal lover, please feel free to say hello to me on your dog walks!
I’ve worked in several areas in policing such as: Response Domestic Abuse and Safeguarding Neighbourhood Policing
What I’m here for: I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know the area better. My priority is to listen to the concerns you have and work with you to find practical solutions.
How I’ll help and what you can expect: I will listen to your concerns and feedback. I will assess issues and work to resolve them where possible. I will keep the Greenbank community safe and a happy place to be. I will be visible, approachable, and responsive in the neighbourhood.
How to get in touch: Attend: I’ll be out and about, at local community events, coffee with cops (The first one being at The Box, Plymouth on Tuesday 13th January at 11am) foot patrols, and general meetings. Message: Speak with your local PCSO or officer during my patrols or at scheduled community safety sessions. Or of course you can report non-urgent issues through 101.
My promise: I’ll communicate openly about issues affecting Greenbank (keep an eye on your alerts and on the Charles Cross Policing Facebook Page!) I’ll collaborate with residents, businesses, housing, schools, and other partners. I’ll strive to make the area safer while ensuring everyone feels respected and heard.
Thank you for welcoming me to Greenbank. I’m excited to start this journey with you and am committed to making our neighbourhood a safer, happier place to live. | ||
