Hi Resident I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. High-Visibility Patrols: Our officers have been conducting regular high-vis patrols in open spaces, particularly during the evenings and at night, to provide reassurance and deter crime.
Engagement with the Community: PCSOs have been speaking with residents and local businesses to gather feedback and intelligence on areas of concern.
Targeted Patrols around Transport Hubs: We’ve increased our presence around transport hubs to support those travelling alone, specifically Hanwell & West Ealing train stations.
School and Youth Engagement: Officers patrol after-school to raise awareness and encourage reporting of concerns.
