Crime update

Good afternoon everyone,

Just a quick update on what's been happening on the ward this week.

A pursuit of a stolen moped took place and was subsequently brought to an end on Sheen Road. The suspect was arrested at the scene and was found to be in possession of a knife and drugs.

A theft from a motor vehicle had occurred on Onslow Avenue. The rear window had been smashed and items were stolen from the vehicle.

A theft where a victim had their phone snatched whilst waiting at a bus stop on The Quadrant.

A prolific shoplifter that frequents George St has been arrested and charged.

A few other minor cases of shoplifting have been reported.
