Happy New Year - From St Albans Police! |
||
|
Dear Resident
On behalf of all who work at St Albans Police Station and Hertfordshire Constabulary, I am writing to wish you a very Happy New Year! Thank you for your ongoing engagement, support, and feedback for local policing. As always, officers are working through the night to keep everyone safe going into 2026.
We hope you don't need to call us, but please be reassured that we will be there should you need it.
Please be aware that to celebrate the New Year and kick start some community engagement, I will be e-mailing residents every day for the next couple of weeks to share Good News from 2025 (January-December). Many people have given feedback that they want to know the outcomes of incidents we attend, including Court incidents. We often try to update the Public on Police outcomes, but I would like to focus on some positive Court outcomes which our officers secured throughout 2025. These messages will be scheduled for sending at 12:00hrs every day for 12 days with the title “MONTH 2025 - A Year in Review”. Feel free to read these messages at your own leisure if they interest you.
If you have a moment, we value your opinions on the issues affecting you and/or your community. We read every single response and use the feedback to inform our patrols and priorities so please do make your voice heard by letting us know what you'd like your local Police to focus on in 2026.
If you're not able to complete the full Priority Survey but want to raise an issue to your Neighbourhood Policing Team, please do contact us either by: (a) Replying to this message, or (b) e-mailing our General Inbox on stalbans@herts.police.uk . Don't forget to ‘Rate’ the messages you receive (at the bottom of every message) to let us know if the content was useful.
Many thanks, Fiona
