As we approach New Year's Eve, the Metropolitan Police reminds everyone to stay vigilant against drink and substance spiking. While celebrations are a time to enjoy, it's important to be aware of the risks and signs:

Signs someone may have been spiked:

Feeling dizzy, unusually sleepy, or faint

Nausea or vomiting

Confusion, disorientation, or memory loss

Sudden changes in behaviour

What to do:

If you or someone else experiences any of these symptoms, seek help immediately

Contact venue staff and call 999

Stay with trusted friends and look out for each other

Let's celebrate safely and ensure everyone can enjoy the night responsibly.
