Crime Update

There was a theft from motor vehicle. Offenders had unscrewed and stolen the back registration plate from a Vauxhall Meriva on Hobs Moat Road.

Good news

Officers will also be holding a bike marking event at St Margaret's Church, St Margaret's Rd, Olton, Solihull

On Wednesday 07 January 2026 between  11:30AM - 1:30PM. I hope you can join us.

Get your bike security marked. It's a highly effective, visible deterrent to bike thieves. 

If your bike is ever stolen and recovered by the police, it can be traced back to you. 

StreetWatch

We are looking for new members to join our StreetWatch groups. Elmdon has two groups one is based around Elmdon Park the other is based around Damson Lane.

As a StreetWatch member, you will patrol your local area for at least two hours every month, at times which suit you. You will patrol with a minimum of two members, talk to people you meet and encourage them to take an active interest in keeping your area safe.

The patrols help to stop crime and anti-social behaviour. They also help people in the area get to know each other.
