Lowestoft – appeal for information after incident at retail park

Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in the car park of North Quay Retail Park, Peto Way, Lowestoft, on 23 December, between 2.05pm and 2.15pm.

Following a reported near miss between the male driver of a silver van with a 58-registration plate and two pedestrians, the male driver approached the two pedestrians who had entered their own vehicle, a black Ford Fiesta. The man then began a verbal altercation, acting in a threatening manner towards the man and woman in the vehicle. He then punched the car window and struck and dented the rear door of the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged in his 40s, of a muscular build, with a full grey beard. He was wearing orange workwear and a black hat and had an eyebrow piercing.
