Good Afternoon Resident
I wanted to say thank you for signing up to use Suffolk Connected. Our use of this platform will continue to grow into the New Year, with updates on incidents and upcoming engagements where you can come and see us. You will probably see messages similar to this to welcome new members throughout the year.
Please do share Suffolk Connected with all of your family and friends, as we want our alerts and messaging to reach as many people as possible. As you know, this is a quick easy process.
I would like to introduce myself, PC Cole Aryaeenia, as your local Community Police Officer. My role is to be a visible, friendly and reachable Police Officer for any concerns or queries you may have. I tackle a wide range of community issues, including anti-social behaviour, safeguarding vulnerable people and problem solving to sort the issues that matter most to local people.
I cover the towns of Saxmundham, Leiston and Aldeburgh, as well as lots of villages and parishes in between including Kelsale, Carlton, Snape, Gromford, Benhall, Friston, Thorpeness, Sternfield, Knodishall, Aldringham, Sizewell, Middleton, Theberton and Eastbridge to name a few.
I work on the Community Policing Team (CPT), covering this area with PCSO Jamie Newson, who tackles community issues alongside myself. We both work from Halesworth Police Station, but can often be found at the joint Fire/Police stations in Saxmundham and Leiston. If you contact the Police in an emergency, or to report a crime, this is passed to our Response Investigation Teams (RIT), who also work from Halesworth Police Station 24 hours a day, all year round. Our dedicated Sizewell C Community Policing Team also work in this area, currently from the Leiston Fire/Police Station. Their role is dedicated to engaging with communities related to the Sizewell C project.
Keep a look out for future engagements we will be posting on our calendar, so that you can come and see us at a dedicated time and date that works for us both.
I wish you and your family a Happy New Year!
