MALE ARRESTED FOR DRUGS AND DRIVING OFFENCES

On 30/12/2025 at around 02:00 officers stopped a blue BMW 118 on Watling Street, Two Gates by McDonald's due to manner of driving.

Checks revealed that the vehicle was being driven without valid insurance and a roadside drugs swipe was conducted on the driver who tested positive.

The male front seat passenger was found in possession of a small amount of cannabis and was dealt with by way of Community Resolution.

The vehicle was seized for no insurance and the 18 year old male driver, from Tamworth, was arrested for drug driving. He has since been released under investigation.
