✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

The Team have been working hard over the Festive season dealing with incidents and completing patrols around our area's.

On the run up to the Festive season the PCSO's were out and about in the area's handing out purse bells and crime prevention. We are also currently planning some more Police Surgeries, as soon as the dates are sorted we will let you know. Our work in the local Nurseries and Reception classes continues in January with our People who help us programme.

Our next LOVE YOUR COMMUNITY MEETING is on Thursday 15th January 2026 at Danescourt Cricket Club starting at 6-8pm. Your local Neighbourhood police Team will be in attendance along with the local Cllrs for the area.

 Reported crime has been low in both area's

Green Lane Criminal Damage of signage 28/12/2025 around 5.30am. CCTV has been collected of the incident and ongoing enquiries are currently taking place.

LW Wightwick

Broughton Road Criminal Damage 19/12/2025

Henwood Road Attempt Burglary   26/12/2025

Both incidenst are being investigated by the Investigation Team and a suspect for the attempt burglary has been arrested.

Make sure all you valuables have been removed from your vehicle, opportunists will be out and about during this busy festive times.
