Theft from vehicles / attempted break ins

I hope you have had a safe and happy Christmas.

Sadly for some, it has not been so positive, with many cars being broken into and items taken from vehicles.

The persons responsible appear to work as a pair, one looks out while the other tries door handles in an attempt to break in 

to stationary vehicles and remove items.

We are urging you to keep all valuables out of your cars, even if they are hidden, to prevent further thefts.

Park your car in a well lit location, invest in a paddle light or sensor, ensure your ring door bell is charged and you are receiving notifications.  NEVER leave your car unlocked, even if it is on your drive, or in what you believe to be, a safe place.

We are actively patrolling the SKETTY , DUNVANT and KILLAY areas , where the males are frequenting sporadically.

Please report any ongoing suspicious activity to 999.
