Local Priorities Road Safety Issues Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We have been collecting data on Millbay Road, with the use of a fixed Speed data box. This was in situ for the first two weeks of December, and the results are very reassuring. The neighbourhood team are currently studying the data, however numbers of speeding vehicles are low. The vast majority of motorists are recorded doing speeds between 20 and 30mph.
Further traffic operations are planned for early in the new year.
