Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Dear Residents, 

PCSO Petrosino here with a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team.

What`s been happening: 

We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have conducted meetings; leaflet drops and joint patrols and parking enforcement.  

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: 

Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community.

This week we have visited many local shops in Hillfields to engage around any current issues, give out crime prevention advice and pass over direct contact details. This has given us the opportunity to get a clear picture on what is happening around shops in Hillfields. 

We have setup plans for more ‘Cuppa with a Coppa’ events in 2026 at the Hope Centre and the Gateway. These are a great way to get face to face with your local neighbourhood team to discuss anything you may like around the Hillfields area. Be on the lookout for more information regarding these in the new year.

ARRESTS:

This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 2 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. 

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK:

 This week we have had 9 stop and searches in your local neighbourhood. These are a great way to disrupt anti-social behaviour in your area. 

Officers have made two arrests, one for theft of a motor vehicle and one for a recall to prison. 

GREAT NEWS:

Your local neighbourhood team are looking a setting up a Street watch in Hillfields.
