As we head into this weekend including Boxing Day celebrations and Wigan’s famous Fancy Dress event, let’s make sure everyone enjoys the night safely: 

✅ Look out for Safety Marshalls and Taxi Marshalls – they’re here to help keep things safe.
✅ Use only registered taxis – never get into an unmarked or unofficial vehicle.
✅ Stay with your friends – don’t wander off alone.
✅ Be aware of your surroundings – trust your instincts.
✅ Don’t accept drinks from strangers – protect yourself from drink spiking.
✅ If trouble starts, walk away – it’s not worth it.
✅ Remember: One punch can kill – think before you act.
