Delves Neighbourhood Team Updates

Good afternoon

Your Delves neighbourhood police team have been busy during the week carrying out patrols all over the locations we cover. 

A male was arrested  while under arrest a quantity of cannabis was located on him.

A male was arrested for drink driving

Officers assisted our St Matthews neighbourhood team conducting a knife crime operation in Walsall Town Centre. A male was arrested after a foot chase for threats to kill.

A cuppa with a Copper event took place Delves Baptist community church, bell lane. Crime prevention advice given and some crime prevention items handed out.

Warm spaces event held in the Seed Hut, palfrey park attended again opportunity for the community to speak to local officers.

Acquisitive crime has remained low during this period, however we have had two instances of criminal damage in the Chuckery location ( Investigation ongoing )

As the Christmas break draws near many of our residents may be visiting family or friends or even going away on holiday, please ensure your house, car, shed, side gates are all locked and secure. If you have trusted neighbours please let them know so they can keep an eye out for you.

Could i please ask that you keep an eye out on some of our most vulnerable residents in our communities. Some may have lost loved ones during the year and face the first xmas alone, just that phone call, a knock on the door or a cuppa with them can make all the difference.

It just leaves the whole of the Delves Police Neighbourhood Team to wish all of our communities a great Xmas, enjoy your rest and have a great break.
