Example Scams

Many thanks to one of our members who has recently received a ‘Scam’ Parking Fine Notice.

He received a Fixed Penalty Parking Notice 447832864282 that included the wrong spelling of ‘Licence’ 
 

Please be aware that you could receive spam texts, emails etc asking for money. In some cases the email from someone whose email address may be legitimate, however, it may transpire that it has been compromised/hacked’ and says they have a sore throat and unable to shop and asks for help buying things.

Please ignore these scams and under no circumstances provide your bank account details etc.
