Recent Ward Activity Updates –

On 12th December 2025, a report was received by police of a male being bitten by an out-of-control dog outside Wandsworth Common Train Station, St James Drive resulting in injuries to his leg. Ward officers investigated and subsequently identified the dog owner whose address was attended on 22nd December 2025. The dog was seized by police and the investigation of allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control resulting in injury is ongoing. The owner will be interviewed under Caution at a later date. 

On 16th December 2025 officers were on patrol on Garratt Lane, SW18 when two males were observed on e-bikes acting suspiciously. One of the males made off, but was detained nearby and searched by officers under Sec 1 PACE. The male was found in possession of a knife and arrested on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon. The investigation is ongoing.  

On 17th December 2025 ward officers were on patrol when they attended an address in Wandsworth, SW18 after a male had been identified as a suspect concerned in the theft of parcels in the SW18 area. After completing enquiries at the address, a 52-year-old male was arrested for theft of mail and taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing. 

On 23rd December 2025 police received a call regarding males believed using drugs in Florence Way, SW12. Officers attended and searched two males under Sec 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. One of the males was found to be in possession of Class A drugs. He was arrested and taken into custody and has now been charged for being in possession of a Class A drug and bailed to attend court.
