I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Drugs and related issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. You may receive this message twice - once as a general message and once in response to the survey you completed. This is part of our testing of the system.
Five men have been arrested following a planned misuse of drugs warrant executed on West Street, Horncastle, this morning, Tuesday 23 December.
The men, aged 18, 27, 30, 40 and 45, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the supply of a Class B drug (cannabis).
Skegness Neighbourhood Policing Inspector Jacky Evans said: “We’re acutely aware of the concern drug misuse causes members of our community. We’re fully committed to tackling concerns about drugs and anti social behaviour in our area. Even though you might not always see everything happening, there’s a lot of work going on behind the scenes to deal with these areas of concern and the issues people report to us.
“We’d also like to thank everyone who continues to share important information through the proper reporting channels. What you tell us really does make a difference and helps us take action on criminal and anti social behaviour in our community.”
If you have any information or concerns, please continue to reach out. There are a number of ways you can do this:
Directly with local Neighbourhood Policing officers at our various engagement opportunities By emailing your local officers using the ‘Report’ section of our website: https://www.lincs.police.uk/ro/report/ By chatting with us while we’re on foot patrols Or anonymously, via CrimeStoppers: https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/give-information-anonymously
All intelligence is handled sensitively and confidentially. Together, we can continue to target anti-social behaviour, drug-related crime, and protect our communities.
