Good Afternoon Resident,
I sent you a message at the weekend to inform you that we had arrested two men and a woman at an address in Astley Bridge following thefts in Halliwell.
Following a proactive investigation by the Bolton Neighbourhood Crime Team and the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team, a man has now been charged.
Mark Rhodes (28/10/85) of no fixed abode has been charged with the following offences: 3 x Burglary dwelling
2 x Attempt burglary dwelling
1 x Business burglary
1 x Attempt theft from a motor vehicle
1 x Theft from a motor vehicle
1 x Escape from lawful custody He has appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today and has been remanded to prison to appear at Bolton Crown Court on Tuesday 27th January 2026.
