Stolen Vehicle Recovered by Local SNT Officers

Selsdon Vale & Forestdale Safer Neighbourhood Team officers were carrying out routine mobile patrols this week when their proactive work led to the successful recovery of a stolen vehicle.

While patrolling Pixton Way, near the junction with Linton Glade, officers were alerted to a vehicle parked suspiciously on the roadside. Using various Metropolitan Police systems, the team conducted thorough checks on the car. These checks quickly revealed that the vehicle had been reported lost and stolen on 16 December 2025.

Officers immediately made contact with the registered keeper to share the good news. The victim was informed that the car had been located and secured, and arrangements were put in place for the vehicle to be collected safely. The owner was extremely relieved and pleased to hear that her vehicle had been found.

This recovery highlights the value of visible patrols and the ongoing commitment of your local SNT officers to keeping our community safe. The team will continue to work proactively to deter crime and protect residents’ property.
