Dear Resident, Please take a few simple steps to help protect your property and reduce the risk of theft from motor vehicles: 1. Remove Valuables Never leave items such as bags, wallets, phones, laptops, or tools in your vehicle – even if hidden. Thieves often check glove compartments and under seats. 2. Lock Up Every Time Always lock your vehicle and close windows, even if you’re only leaving it for a short time. Double-check that your doors are secure. 3. Park Smart Whenever possible, park in well-lit, busy areas or secure car parks. Avoid leaving your vehicle in isolated spots overnight. 4. Use Additional Security Consider steering wheel locks, alarms, and tracking devices for extra protection. 5.
