As we welcome the new year, everyone at Wantage & Grove NHPT would like to wish our residents a very happy and safe New Year.

It’s been an incredibly busy year for both our team and the community. We were pleased to welcome a new face to the team with PC Oldroyd joining us.
Over the past year we’ve tackled a wide range of issues, including the Bill & Ben flower pot theft series, secured multiple closure orders, launched a new mentoring scheme, carried out more vehicle seizures than we care to imagine, and seen a 350% increase in ASB powers used to keep our communities safe.

We also took our Have Your Say roadshow to every village across our patch and built our policing priorities directly from what you told us through our community survey. Your voices truly shape the work we do.

It’s been a busy year — and we’re only getting started.
Next year will be bigger and better.

Expect more action on anti-social behaviour, a stronger clampdown on drugs, and even more communication, partnership working, and visibility across Wantage and Grove.
