We want you to enjoy the season safely, so here are some simple ways to protect yourself, your belongings, and your home.

• Don’t store mobiles or wallets in back pockets — keep them secure and out of sight.
• Stay alert at cash machines and shield your PIN.
• Avoid leaving gifts or valuables in your car. If you must, hide them from view.
• Park in well‑lit or attended car parks and always lock your vehicle.

• Don’t leave wrapped gifts visible through windows.
• Use light timers if you’re out during the evening.
• Always lock doors and windows — even for quick trips.
