I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Nuisance motorbikes, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. OFF ROAD BIKE SEIZED in HEMLINGTON.
This evening local officers from Middlesbrough South Neighbourhood Policing team have seized an illegal off-road bike.
On sighting the off-road bike being ridden dangerously and anti-socially around the footpath on Hemlington Lake, with the riders not using any lights on the bike and did not have the correct clothing to be riding in this manner.
After officers made attempts to stop the off-road bike the two male riders then fled on foot, The bike has now been seized by police and will be destroyed - perhaps endings it days as paperclips.
If you are seen riding an illegal off-road bike on any land not private WE WILL SEIZE it from you and you may end up before the legal system.
