Erratic Driving Incident Leads to Drug Seizure

While on patrol around Halifax Road tonight, officers spotted a BMW 5 Series being driven erratically. The police requested the vehicle to stop; however, the driver ignored the request, putting himself and other members of the public at significant risk. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the driver’s ability to control the vehicle was questionable as he crashed into a brick wall.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers uncovered a large quantity of Class A and B drugs, with a total value of over £2,000. Although the driver managed to flee the scene, CCTV footage and information provided by local residents made it easy to possibly identify him. Rest assured, we will be seeing him very soon.
