Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Hope you are all well and having a good start to your week.

Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the couple of weeks in the Birchills/Leamore and Beechdale area:

The team attended the latest partners and community meeting held for people who live and work in the Birchills, Leamore, Beechdale and Blakenall areas of Walsall (18/12/25). This meeting was held at the Blakenall Village Centre- further meeting dates/venue will be advertised once confirmed.

A stolen van was recovered in the Stephenson Avenue area of Beechdale (18/12/25)

PCSO Waddington attended the fantastic MLSS Community Hub, 501 Bloxwich Rd, Bloxwich, Walsall WS3 2XA for their weekly community well-being event, here we engaged with the public and helped in wrapping Christmas presents for vulnerable children.

Continued work has been carried out in the Stephenson Sq area of Beechdale- reports have been received regarding ASB close by in Edison Road/Walk.

Further patrols have been carried out in the Birch St area of Birchills/Leamore in response to concerns raised regarding drug activity being carried out in a communal stairwell leading up to flats. The patrols will continue to help and support the residents.

A community warning was issued to the owner of a vehicle parking up in the locality of Newfield Close/Green Lane regarding the use of nitrous oxide and littering. We are working with Walsall Council regarding this matter.
