Appeal for witnesses following assault in Boscombe |

Detectives investigating an assault in Boscombe are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.
Dorset Police received a report at 9.42pm on Thursday 18 December 2025 that a man was located with injuries in Drummond Road. It was further reported that the man had sustained a stab wound a short time before in Boscombe Gardens.
The victim – a man aged in his 20s – was taken to hospital for treatment with injuries that are not life-threatening or life-changing.
A cordon was put in place to allow for detailed enquiries to be carried out at the scene.
Detective Inspector Jon Sainsbury, of BCP CID, said: “A full investigation is underway by detectives to establish the full circumstances of what happened and to locate the offender.
“I understand there were a number of people around at the time and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with information that may help our enquiries, to please come forward.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area and we would encourage anyone with information or concerns to please speak with an officer.”
