Street Watch - Get Involved and help make your area safer |
Good evening, Our community thrives when we look out for one another. That’s why we're looking to establish Street Watch schemes in your area. There are over 130 Street Watch groups active in communities across the force area, this includes fourteen schemes here in Walsall where there is a scheme in eleven of the twenty borough wards. Our ambition is to establish a scheme in every ward and we need your help to make it happen Street Watch is all about neighbours working together to deter crime and ASB, report suspicious activity and foster a stronger, safer environment for everyone. Why should you get involved? ☑️ Help prevent crime and antisocial behaviour? ☑️ Keep fit and meet local people? ☑️ Improve the area where you live? ☑️ Strengthen community spirit ☑️ Make a genuine difference right outside your front door You don't need any special skills—just a willingness to help and a commitment to patrol your local area alongside your neighbours for at least two hours every month, at times which suit you. Training and support are provided!
Ready to take an active role in keeping our community safe? To get involved, or for more information email: streetwatch@westmidlands.police.uk
