Please note: The majority of theft from motor vehicles that are being reported to us, appear to have occurred without any forced entry taking place. Please do double-check your vehicles are locked by trying your door handles, From my own personal experience I know that cars can give the impression that you have locked the doors, even when just one locking mechanism may have fail to fully engage., I also encourage you to keep all valuables out of sight. If you see anything suspicious, let us know on 101 or online at https://www.leics.police.uk.In an emergency, always call 999.
