Protect yourself by: - Turning on anti-theft protection features (find My Device, remote lock/wipe)
- Using strong, separate passwords for banking and financial apps.
- Being alert to people watching you unlock your phone in public
- Avoiding using your phone close to the roadside where it could be snatched
Beware of bogus Callers - Be cautious of anyone claiming to be delivery drivers, tradespeople of officials.
- Always check I.D
- Genuine callers won’t rush you
- If unsure don’t open the door-call the company or 999 if you feel threatened.
Out and About - Keep bags zipped and phones secure
- Avoid displaying large amounts of cash
- Stay alert in busy shops, pubs and transport hubs.
Look out for Each Other - Check on vulnerable neighbours
- Report suspicious behaviour early – small things can prevent bigger crimes.

- 101 / online – non-emergency concerns
