Update on Fraud Crime Where You Live

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding fraud crime including telephone fraud and door knocking fraud issues, which people where you live are highlighting as an issue of concern in their survey responses.

We have had multiple calls regarding a male stating he is a tree surgeon, knocking on doors in the local area. He has not provided any identification and has become abusive when challenged. Male is described as tall, slim build, aged in his 20's or 30's wearing a woollen hat and light coloured jacket.

Please be mindful when opening the doors to strangers especially when they are offering services door to door and unwilling to provide identification.
