Neighbourhood advice during the festive period |
||
|
Good Morning residents,
We are drawing closer to that time of year where we enjoy our time with friends and family, or take time to reflect on the year that has passed. It's Christmas time!
During this period, some households may be taking on extra visitors. This can sometimes have a negative impact on the community such as an increase in local parking demand for residents, house parties, excessive alcohol consumption or anti-social behaviour.
We are asking all residents to be aware of and respect their neighbours during this time (and always!). Some people may still be working over the Christmas period, especially shift workers or residents with young children who may not appreciate excessive noise and disruption. Guidelines suggest that noise should be kept to a minimum between the hours of 11pm-7am.
It is always good courtesy to let neighbours know if you are planning any events or parties so that they can be made aware.
If you have guests staying with you for any period of time, please try to use your driveway (if you have one) or make sure that guest's vehicles are parked legally without causing a highway obstruction, preventing emergency access or preventing any vehicle from entering or exiting the highway.
We hope you all enjoy a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year | ||
