Yesterday morning, officers from the #South Neighbourhood Team responded to reports of a theft taking place in Bolton Town Centre, where over £800 worth of stock had been stolen from Boots. Within minutes of the call being made to police, two suspects matching the description were located and all of the suspected stolen stock was recovered. This follows a similar incident in September at the same shop, where approximately £1000 worth of goods were stolen.

Craig McColl (24/09/1988) of no fixed above has been charged with two counts of theft and two counts of criminal damage.  

Charlene McKerrow (26/12/1988) of Bradshawgate, Bolton, has been charged with handling stolen goods.

Both have been remanded to appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 17th December 2025.
