Harrods Bombing Memorial : Wed 17 Dec 13:30

Today we remember Inspector Stephen Dodd, Police Sergeant Noel Lane and WPC Jane Arbuthnot of the Metropolitan Police. 

The officers were murdered 42 years ago alongside three innocent members of the public when a terrorist’s car bomb exploded outside Harrods department store in Hans Crescent, London in 1983. 

Ninety people including police officers were seriously injured in the attack. 

On the 24th September 1985 we unveiled our memorial at the scene to honour the officer’s service and sacrifice.
