Truancy Hythe |

The Child Centred Policing Team supported me with a truancy sweep on Tuesday 16th December in the Hythe area. The team located 10 children from Brockhill Park School in and around the Saltwood area and all were returned to school. Truants are more likely to commit crime or be involved in antisocial behaviour, which is something that Hythe and Saltwood have experienced in recent months. Folkestone CSU is committed to ensuring children remain in school, not only to ensure they have the best education opportunities, but also to safeguard them from harm and poor influences.
