Local Priorities Road Safety Issues Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We spent time on Millbay Road in Stonehouse this evening conducting speed checks, and vehicle roadworthiness. The majority of vehicles were complying with the speed limit, a few needed some words of advice, but generally motorists were receptive to the advice. One motorist was speeding and failed to stop when requested, we will be following this up with the motorist.
Thank you for the local residents who offered us a cup of tea, as it was a chilly night..
