Ward Panel Priority Updates

Good evening, 

Last night we conducted the quarterly Ward Panel meeting at Orion Eden Park, 43 Balmoral Avenue, Beckenham, BR3 3TJ.

Thank you to all that attended.

The Priorities agreed on are Speeding, Youth Engagement & Environmental Audits.

Speeding

We will be carrying out speed checks on targeted roads on Kelsey & Eden Park Ward with the Pro Laser 3 Speed Gun which detects speed at a distance and is evidence towards challenging drivers. We are aiming to carry these out twice a month. 

Youth Engagement

We will work with Schools & The Youth Engagement Team Teams to organize a number of Youth Engagement Events. 

Environmental Audit's

To conduct a walk around with officers on specific roads to discuss crime prevention advice, around burglary and theft of motor vehicle. Advice is given from the Design Out Crime Team. 

The next Ward Panel date will be 31st March 2026 at 18:30. The venue for this will be confirmed in the New Year. Please let us know if you are interested in attending or know anyone who has not signed up for Met Engage that would like to come along.
