Dear Resident,

Here’s a quick round up from me and the Longbridge Neighbourhood Team.

Our Priorities

Anti-social behaviour, shop theft and drugs around the Longbridge retail and South & City College area. Concerns highlighted to local officers and from call data received to WMP with incidents to this locality.

We are experiencing an increase in robbery offences in Longbridge. Recent offences from Mid-October have been around the Rea Valley Route which runs from Arden Road, Frankley to Longbridge Retail Park.

A number of concerns reported of speeding and poor driving across the Longbridge area, There have also been reports of ASB on car parks around The Great Park.

What’s been happening?

Reassurance visits conducted to victims of burglaries from their home. Crime prevention advice and items given. We have added high visibility patrols by foot and vehicle around the locations to provide support and further reassurance.

High visibility patrols around our known anti-social behaviour spots. Longbridge Retail Park was definitely in the Christmas Spirit with a visit from Father Christmas!

We also dropped by Northfield Grosvenor Shopping Centre and spoke with all the stall vendors who were selling handmade items. It was great to hear how shoppers were supporting raising money for Northfield Arts Forum.
