Felling of Shotton Christmas Tree

We are pleased to advise that, following proactive investigative work, a suspect was arrested in connection with the Felling of Shottons Christmas Tree and they are due to stand trial next year

Enquiries are continuing and are being expedited to ensure all lines of investigation are fully explored. Officers are continuing to review evidence and progress the case in preparation for court proceedings

We would still welcome any information that may assist in the investigation. In particular, any CCTV or dashcam recordings from the time in which the incident occurred
