Getting in the Christmas ‘spirit’

Throughout the Christmas period, and in the lead up to the new year we see an increase in the number of festive folks visiting pubs, bars and clubs across the region, to celebrate ahead of the arrival of Santa Claus. 

If you are planning on heading out you can be sure to see our officers out and about making sure you have an enjoyable, merry and safe night out with your friends, family and colleagues.

Whilst you may see our officers on high visibility patrol across our towns and cities, we also have a team of plain clothed officers patrolling, ready to challenge any suspicious behaviour.

As well as these proactive patrols, the teams will also be working in partnership with door staff and licensees whilst building on existing relationships to ensure they can continue to spot the signs of potential concern before it turns into anything more alarming.
