Vehicle crime

There have been reports on local Facebook pages about vehicles being tampered with in the Deadman’s Lane area of Greenham and other parts of Newbury over recent nights.

Some residents have captured footage on Ring doorbell cameras. 

The Newbury Neighbourhood Team is actively working to identify the culprit and gather as much information and evidence as possible, as there has been a high volume of these incidents. 

However, many of the individuals posting online have not reported the matter to the police. This means we do not know who the victims are and cannot access potentially vital footage without further details. 

We are asking anyone who has information or video evidence to make an official report to Thames Valley Police for the attention of the Newbury Neighbourhood Team so that we can investigate properly.
