Often a motivator behind fraud. It is normally the driver for individuals who commit fraud and also to exploit the greed in some of their victims , specifically they are looking for people who may desire “something for nothing” or fall foul of  get rich quick schemes.

PAY EIGHT-TENTION TO DETAILS: STOP, THINK AND CHECK.

This is a crucial defense against fraud as scammers often include small errors or inconsistencies that reveal their deception.

Poor grammar, using very similar addresses of legitimate businesses, spelling mistakes or awkward phrasing are common red flags in emails.

Requesting sensitive information – never provide personal or financial details. Be aware of unusual payment requests.
