Come and get your bike marked!

Dear Resident,

One of the priorities that our northern neighbourhood team have been working towards over the past few months is tackling bike thefts in Bretton and West Ward.

As part of their work to address this issue, they are holding two bike marking events!

🚲Bretton Centre, between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, on Monday (22 December)

🚲Peterborough City Hospital, between 6pm and 8pm, on Monday (22 December)

❓ How does bike marking work?

A tamper-proof sticker will be put on the bike, acting as a visual deterrent to thieves. If the bike is stolen and then recovered by us, the chances of it being reunited with you is higher as it will be registered to the national cycle database.

All you have to do is meet us with your bike, it is a completely free event and will only cost you a few minutes of your time.
