Bury St Edmunds – Serious collision |

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Bury St Edmunds.
Officers were called at just after 9.15am on Friday 5 December to reports of a collision involving a white Ford Transit Tipper and a bicycle in Raingate Street, at the junction with Swan Lane.
The cyclist – a man aged in his 70s – was initially taken to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment before later being transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, having sustained a serious pelvic injury.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
