* OPERATION NORTH STAR *

Good Evening,

Myself and PC 05728 Finch have been conducting a pro-active mobile patrol this evening, linked with Operation North Star. Whilst patrolling Hulton Playing Fields, officers have come across a stationary vehicle whose occupants were consuming Nitrous Oxide from a balloon. 

Those occupants and the vehicle were searched under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act, and a small quantity of Nitrous Oxide was discovered and seized. For those not aware, Nitrous Oxide is a Class C substance and is therefore illegal to have in your possession. These individuals have now been reprimanded for this offence. 

My ask is that the community report such behaviour so we can ensure any problem areas are patrolled regularly to disrupt this behaviour.
