DNO Update 14/12/25 & Ask for Angela |
Good morning Elmdon,
Hope you’re all ok, I will start this update with the bad news. Unfortunately, I can report one recorded burglary that occurred near the Rowood Drive area and a theft of a motor vehicle near Old Lode Lane. I am sorry for the victims of both of these crimes and to the victims of other crimes in Elmdon and the LEOS patch that I do not report on. Before I move on to the good news, which has been written by PC Walker from Olton, I wanted to talk a little about night life in Solihull. Although Elmdon does not have many late-night venues, I still wanted to talk about this as Christmas/Holiday work dos are well underway, schools are about to break up, and we see a big rise in nighttime economy during this time of year. For those that don’t know, I have attached a poster to advertise the ‘Ask for Angela’ Scheme. This is designed to help vulnerable people who need help. It originated for those that are experiencing sexual advances, assaults, creepy behaviour or are just feeling threatened. Please read this and bare it in mind. Also please pass along to younger members of the family or friends that do not sign up to or read PC Murray’s regular Elmdon DNO updates. Also please pass on the WMNow sign up to anyone needing a read every 9 days. Please see below the teams good news, written by Olton’s PC Walker, also on the LEOS. “Good News: The team have arrested three suspects this past week for domestic violence offences safeguarding the victims and securing positive outcomes. The team have been increasing visibility in our burglary hot spot areas in the lead up to Christmas as this is a typically very busy period. We continue to be committed to reduce burglary and catch offenders. On the 13th of December we have assisted our traffic colleagues when two males have been arrested for theft of motor vehicle after a pursuit in the area led to a stolen Toyota Hilux being recovered and two suspects behind bars. We will be in touch again soon, take care and stay safe.” Thank you for reading everyone and as always, please come and say hello if you see me out, Dan PC 26485 Murray | ||
