Here’s our weekly round up from the Tyburn neighbourhood policing team.

 What’s been happening:

Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have been very proactive, this week making 3 arrests. They have been out making multiple arrest attempts in the Tyburn area in order to lower serious crimes.

PCSO’S have been attending various community events across Tyburn including;

Street watch whereby we have patrolled Caste Vale to deter crime and look for any problems that the police could address in the area.
A police pop surgery at Lidl on Kingsbury Road in order to address community concerns and issues.
We have visited Topcliffe school to talk to pupils about the importance of safety when cycling including wearing a helmet, cycling responsibly on the road and wearing visible clothing.
Finally we have conducted a bike property marking event at Go Outdoors on Ravenside.

PCSO’s and Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have conducted a speed operation on Wheelwright road and Farnborough road, Castle Vale. We pulled multiple cars over for minor speeding, details have been checked and they have been advised on keeping to the speed limit in the future.

PCSO’s and Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have been conducting patrols around our Retail Area’s to give Reassurance to the public and shop staff and to Deter Shop Theft.

PCSO’S have been conducting vehicle checks. If any of these come back without tax, MOT or insurance the registered keepers will be reported for these offences and their vehicles will be recovered.
