Good evening everyone. I hope you have had a great weekend and if you have been out celebrating you managed to keep out of the cold weather.
Crime Update: Between the hours of 12:00 and 23:00 unknown offenders have approached an address on Bradbury Road on the 8th of December and gained entry to a car parked and secured on the driveway using a relay device and then stolen a small sum of money from within the vehicles.
In the early evening of the 9th of December there was a theft of motor vehicle on Richmond Road whereby a locked and secured Black Ford Fiesta was taken by unknown means. Offenders have made off out of Solihull.
There has been a theft of motor vehicle on Dove House Lane in the early hours of the 12th of December whereby a Grey BMW Mobility Car has been stolen by unknown offenders using a relay device to gain entry to the vehicle.
There has been a reported vehicle interference on Greswolde Road on the 13th of December at around 22:00. The homeowner has disturbed an unknown masked male sat in the driver’s seat of the family car on the driveway, the male has been scared off and run away.
Good News: The team have arrested three suspects this past week for domestic violence offences safeguarding the victims and securing positive outcomes.
The team have been increasing visibility in our burglary hot spot areas in the lead up to Christmas as this is a typically very busy period. We continue to be committed to reduce burglary and catch offenders.
On the 13th of December we have assisted our traffic colleagues when two males have been arrested for theft of motor vehicle after a pursuit in the area led to a stolen Toyota Hilux being recovered and two suspects behind bars.
