A 34-year-old man from the New Forest has been charged with burglary from an outbuilding at AFC Totton on Salisbury Road. Steven Frederick Michael Scaum, of no fixed abode, first faced the charged when he appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (11 December). He was remanded in custody to next appear at the same court on Tuesday (16 December). The charge follows a report of forced entry to a storage shed in the early hours of the morning on Thursday 20 November. It’s reported that tools were also stolen during the incident. Scaum was also charged with four shoplifting offences from stores in Dibden Purlieu and Hythe between October and November.
